Events:June 3, 2017 (Tentative) Retzlaff Winery Event:

Finished Objects
  • Project: Another herringbone cowl
  • Pattern: Purl Soho Herringbone Cowl
  • Yarn/Colorway: Miss Babs Yowza! Funny Papers
  • Notes:   Love love love love.
  • Icord cast on.
  • Yarn: Zwerger Garn Opal Happy mit Silbereffekt, colorway Brasil: rainbowy!
  • Size 1 needles
  • Tried the citric acid soak today to protect the rainbow colors.
  • Yarn: Cascade Greenland (bought a ton at Stitches several years ago
  • Notes: Done with body. Need to do shawl collar. Lots of merit doing the pieced pattern instead of in-the-round
  • Kitty hats in Magic Ice DK, trans flag colors. (pink, blue white) Acrylic yarn with loooong color transitions, excellent for crochet and knitting.
  • For Transgender Day of Visibility, (actually 3/31) celebration on  April 1, at the Billy deFrank Center. I’ll be offering these for a donation to the center.
  • Using formula for hat sizes given in official P*ssyhat page, as well as a few basic beanies on Ravelry (Kitkat hat, etc.) Also making some earless beanies for those who do not want tomfoolery but do want the flag colors.
Here’s some patterns:
  • Pattern: Viajante
  • Yarn: Miss Babs Katahdin -- Morticia
  • Hexipuffs out of my leftover Opal yarn. This is in my everyday bag.
  • Project: Vanilla Socks
  • Pattern: mine
  • Yarn/Colorway: Plymouth Stilleto
  • Notes:    ON HOLD
