In this holiday season, it’s time to think of giving to those less fortunate. As geeks, there are plenty of gifts out there geared toward us, but we should also consider giving unto others as part of our missive.

Jade	Project: Hawaiian Water Pattern: Watercourse by Carina Spencer Yarn: Malabrigo Rios Colorway: Azul Profundo Notes: Started in Hawaii. Reminds me of blue lagoon waters. Lovely yarn. NICE pattern, but I can't count so lots of mistakes on my part.
Sandy	Project: Camp Out mitts by tante ehm Yarn: Using diVe worsted in blue, casting on longer than is recommended because the wearer wants more coverage Link: The Tin Can Knits needle and hook method of provisional cast ons is my favorite one I’ve seen in a while. Easily memorized and cleanly executed, no picking things out.
Sandy	Baby blanket for a gaming friend! Team effort, knit and crochet Just got the last square for this this week, it’s time to block, arrange, and join!
